After School Activities (ASA)

At HIS, we firmly believe that the development of a child is not restricted to  textbooks and worksheets in the classroom but it also happens as students engage and extend themselves through sports, arts, and other creative pursuits. The activities offered may vary in each semester according to teacher, parent and community volunteer skills and interests. Some activities offered in the past include Sports, Model United Nations (MUN), Guitar Club, Conversational Japanese, Horse Riding, Praise Aerobics and Movie Making. Any charges will go to cover the expenses of the particular ASA.

At the beginning of each semester, an ASA sign up form is sent home with each student for parents to choose which activities and days they child can attend an ASA. The form is returned to the school and students will be assigned to the various activities (not necessarily in the order of choice). Transportation arrangements to major destinations can be made for an additional fee.
